The set is great for hands-on interactive literacy learning in the classroom or at home. Children use the magnetic wand and letter and sound counters to learn upper- and lowercase letters, initial and ending sounds, and blending and segmenting sounds.

Use these letter counters for early years literacy activities including learning lowercase letters, building long and short words, and more. The counters have a metal ring on the outside and can be used with the Colourful Magnetic Wands (sold separately) to add a hands-on, interactive element to literacy activities in the classroom.

Spin the roulette and search for images that start with a specific letter or phoneme, that contain that letter or phoneme, or that have a specific number of syllables! A game containing photographs to help you to mentally segment words into syllables and identify phonemes and letters in a progressive way.

Phonological awareness is essential for creating a good foundation before reading. Segmenting phonemes, spelling and dividing words into syllables using images is particularly indicated when there are specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia.
